Bloodline - Barbara Elsborg 3.5 The best thing of this story is Inigo. At the beginning I thought he was going to be another self-centered vampire who felt he had the right to use others without any impunity. But as the story developed Inigo became a tender, funny, snarky, loving hero who was the perfect match for Micah, the self-sacrificing fae who was tortured throughout this story. I appreciated the funny dialogue, the sense of the ridiculous (a talking horse)which broke a lot of the dark moments. And yes, there is darkness and cruelty in this story and I wanted Oberon ripped apart, slowly, no torturous death would have been enough.

Good story. Good characters. Snappy dialogue. A love story. I loved it!
