The one shining star in this story is Cha-Cha. He deserved better. Here you have a character that is strong, sweet and sexy, and we pair he with a detached, self-centered character that I couldn't get into.
There was good dialogue in this story, and the characters were likable enough, but at some point the plot-issues took center stage (family relationships, friend's romance, and hoarding), and I stopped caring about both, the characters and the romance.
