3.5 rating for a mystery with a plumber and a detective, and a recommended read.
I was completely entertained with this story, but then again, I'm a fan of British Village mysteries. The supporting cast in this story seems to come out of Agatha Christie's stories, including a vicar that has more to hide than anyone else.
There's a mix of light mystery, light romance and light murder. That's my only concern. It's light. I wanted to know or explore Tom's talent which was not fully explored. I wanted a bit more flesh in these characters. And I wanted more of the relationship and romance. But since I'm hoping that this is the beginning of a series, I can wait for that.
