Bad Slave
This book is just "disjointed." The elements (historical, fantasy, almost steampunk, political intrigue, BDSM, etc) in the story do not work together. I believe that without the BDSM this story could have been better OR if not, the BDSM needed to be center-stage with more sensual and emotional content.
